The Holiday Club runs in the Summer Holidays for twelve days for young people aged from 13 to 19 and offers activities which are fun as well as skills based, which will aid the young people in their growth towards adulthood.
The aim is to offer teenagers with learning disabilities opportunities to access a range of out of school activities. These sessions will meet their social, emotional and physical needs as well as providing them with the means of meeting current friends and making new ones, whilst enjoying new experiences supported by experienced, trained staff and volunteers.
Future dates and activities are given below.
We will tailor each day to the youngsters attending but in addition, for our less able youngsters we are offering an alternative programme which will include some more sensory based activities. Some of these activities are based at the same venues with the other young people and other activities are organised with only them in mind.
